Peterborough (A) | Post Match Thread

Love Jack’s insight into that goal and the convo in the coach. Jack was excellent tonight and good to see him and Phil linking up well.
They'll be linking up well on their next bender as well.... er I mean team bonding shandies

The posh did well, but their Man of the Match was the pitch. It definitely stunted City, but a comfortable win without too much sweat.

Boro currently holding Spurs in the 70th minute so that should be them imploding as a club tomorrow according to some of our "fans" in the matchday thread.

Shit pitch, up-for-it but poor opposition, scrappy game… we won.

Next round, anyone but Boro. Would love Everton away!

A true wtf performance in the first half, much better second, let’s face it a few were going through the motions.

Job done but this set up we see every week against us the dippers is fucking tedious.

Got it done, that’s the main thing. thought Peterborough did well, pace threatened first half and Pep had to switch the CBs cos of it. If they’d taken their chance it might have been a bit different. City comfortably on top for most of the second half though.

Personally I’m also a fan of the fact you hear the shouts louder at lower league grounds too, although the constant apologising for it from commentators gets on my nerves. No idea what “industrial language” means though, was somebody singing “the referee’s a welder”?!
