It’s not his honesty I’m relying on for my argument, it’s his capacity to engage in unjustified warfare. He seems capable on that score.Putin says alot of things, like Ukrainians committing genocide in the name of their Jewish Nazi leader.

I would suggest the way the Ukranians are scrapping, negotiating a land give is not on the agendaTotally accept and acknowledge that @mossideble, but could we not act as an enabler to help facilitate a peaceful settlement? It's better than trying to enforce an Air Exclusion Zone or leaving the Ukranians to fight and suffer alone?
Yes. It's probably one of the most nationalistic events on the face of the earth. Saying they can't fly a flag is about as pointless as a chocolate teapot in the Sahara fucking desert.Should we call on all other participants to boycott the event?
Probably not intentional but walk off the start line would be a miracle for a lot of those athletes.Best bet would be all other competitors walk off the start line...... leave them to it......embarrass the IOC...... huge ask of people who have strived to get there but I doubt it would be allowed to go beyond the first couple of heats before the decision was reversed
And she had a love child with Putin when he was stationed in East Germany with the KGB and she was working as a waitress in a cocktail bar - ok some of that could be conjectureMerkel shat her knickers after the Japanese nuclear meltdown and drove German dependency on Russian gas through the roof.
There is, in Russia, lots of it. Whether you choose to believe it or not that’s a different question. A lot of Russians doIf Russians in East Ukraine have been persecuted for years, surely ther is some evidence posted somewhere.
Putin is more interested in his personal fortune that will be bullet proof.
Well, that's what Serbs used to say during the siege of Sarajevo. Dead people or what was left of them were mannequins, blood was sheep blood or dye and after all, it was all Bosnian government setting up the explosives in order to have NATO intervene. The same School of Rock!RT in propaganda overdrive.
Just had some old russian ex-military guy on saying the Freedom Square blast yesterday, looks likely from 152mm artillery shell, so likely came from the Ukrainians (as the Russians have no units in the area)
Unbelievable! You can literally see the missile just before it lands
No need to bet on it MAV.The end result is unknown but I’ll bet there are hundreds of conversations between diplomats every day and as long as they keep talking then there is always the chance of a solution and that’s what everyone needs to hope for.
I was rather thinking of high level evidence fron a trustworthy source such as an academic specialist. There is, in Russia, lots of it. Whether you choose to believe it or not that’s a different question. A lot of Russians do
They are hitting Russians, but not hitting Putin. So long as he can continue to feed and arm his forces, I doubt he gives a fuck. The problems are here and now. The Kremlin just announced that “The countries economic reality has considerably changed” and that Sberbank has run out of money after a run on the bank.
The stock exchange is STILL closed today, the rouble is at the lowest it’s ever been.
These economic sanctions are not short term issues, they are hitting right now.
That much is true. And she had a love child with Putin when he was stationed in East Germany with the KGB and she was working as a waitress in a cocktail bar - ok some of that could be conjecture
It’s so wrong, what the fuck was she thinking?Merkel shat her knickers after the Japanese nuclear meltdown and drove German dependency on Russian gas through the roof.
He’ll have fuck all to spend it on as wellHis personal fortune is no more immune to sanctions then the rest of the oligrarchs and the Russian Central Bank, he just has more.
They’re losing money, he’s losing money.
Putin has to be careful hereYep, which makes me nervous, as Putin has already called one bluff in terms of Western boots on the ground.
Many Russians will only feel the hurt of sanctions and Hitler utilised the Treaty of Versailles to his own end.
The Russian public are only getting one side of the story.
The final Putin bluff is one of mutually assured destruction, which he seems more than capable of calling.
The options are death or complete surrenderRussians up for more talks, to say what exactly , disarm , Zolo to give himself up, leaving the country as sitting ducks now or in the future ,giving him all the equipement the west have sent , not happening
I’m expecting some here to jump on this but I’ve actually been impressed with Boris this last few days.
