Russian invasion of Ukraine

The structure of the nuclear reactor wasn't damaged, it is designed to be bomb proof and could take a hit from an aircraft hitting it, there was a building 300m away that was damaged, I was pretty sure russia wouldn't attack the reactor , even they aren't that mad (are they)but all it takes is 1 stray bomb

Not really aimed at you, but Ive seen this a few times today, the reactor is bomb proof but all it would take is a stray bomb.... Erm hows that work then?

Professor on the BBC has just said any nuclear “accident” at these power stations wouldn’t affect the UK, we’re too far away and there’s no graphite in them to carry radioactivity. Would be a disaster for the Ukraine and surrounding countries.
To be fair she was asked how it would affect the UK.

It’s really strange how they want to join a cartel of unelected bureaucrats which is about to collapse and in the meantime purposely remove their own sovereignty isn’t it? You’d think they’d want to follow our shining example take back control after all this.
Desperate times = desperate measures I suppose.

Is this woman trying to be the next Katie Hopkins????

That quote in the Times attributed her was a fabrication and they printed a correction after the damage was done. I defended her over that and some of the sexist, classist abuse she was subjected to was pretty sickening.

It’s hard to defend this one though. Read the room, Kirstie.

“Careful now Vlad, it’s against section 25 paragraph 37 line 5 of the UK health and safety war regulations to invade a foreign country without first filling in page 87 of the wartime risk assessment form relating to fire safety. All soldiers must be wearing a high vis vest and one of those little plastic hats builders use.”
