As much as I liked Leroy,Hemp never seems to have a bad or quiet game.

Only watch now and again but Demi Stokes always stands out as one of our best. Proper little footballer.

I thought both full-backs were outstanding, as I’ve already mentioned.

Not sure that justifies him being one of our managers. If we replicated that, then we’d have Dickov as our mens’ team manager.

Theres a club, somewhere, that has tested that model. It didn’t go particularly well, from what I can remember ;-)

don't know about comparisons to Leroy but Hemp is superb. Look forward to seeing her every time I watch

To those who are more knowledgeable about WSL , is there any kind of spending cap or FFP ?

Players seem to move around without much mention of transfer fees etc .

Yes there is a salary cap. I think it might have increased in recent times to enable star purchases from overseas.

Yes there are very few transfer fees paid. I think that’s due to a combination of there being less money in the women’s game and shorter contracts for players, meaning clubs can often wait until a player’s contract runs out.

Great win for the guys - tbh I had written them off prior to the game. Greenwood, Hemp & Stokes immense, Kennedy, Walsh, Raso excellent, Stanway, Roebuck quality, Wier did well second half - White and Bronze showed their class second half - Well done blues.

Just seen the quarter final v Everton as been arranged for Sunday 20th March with a 12:30 kick off .
Why would you pick the same day as the men's quarter final , ok if you watch both games on TV , but would be a bit of a rush if you wanted to go to the women game then get home for the Southampton game !
Wouldn't be more simple to have played the women's match on the Saturday ?
