This is a reaction to crankery with it's own crankery. It is also a boring cliche.

Corbyn isn't antisemitic or communist. He was a poor leader and his background in anti-war protests was never going to bring him friends in the establishment. It is much more likely that he would have been deposed by the PLP than the communists getting the levers of power in this country. Although they occupied the leader's office they weren't very powerful or influential in their own party.

There were some strange people in his office and a minority of bigots online with labour membership cards but it is far fetched to say there was an institutional problem of Jew-hate or revolutionary communists. Even the EHRC report didn't conclude that.

We were not right to wade in to either Iraq or Afghanistan as it's achieved absolutely fuck all - particularly in the case of Iraq which we have left in a shocking state.

I'm sorry nobody can justify either of those invasions or the aftermath.

We should probably take this to another thread, but maybe you should provide evidence, if it was that clear.

For instance if Cummings was really pulling the strings how did he get the boot? Or maybe, leaders have their own ego and ideas as well and aren't just a puppet for people in the shadows. As interesting as that kind of story is, it is only occasionally grounded in reality.
