United (H) - Post Match Thread

Correct, that little section of their away end was empty all game. Can’t even sell out the away end in a derby, they should never have the cheek to talk to us about empty seats ever again.
The Rags do you know you can get coats in colours other than black, don't they?

Bitter, bitter, bitter tawts.
This nonsense about lack off effort and commitment is drivel. I sit on the back row of the lower tier, in front of me is a television, it plays the match with a few seconds time lapse, a new introduction is replays of the contentious issues VAR etc. About 30 minutes into the game they started doing close ups of the rag players, they looked absolutely shagged out and totally bolloxed.
Not lack of effort, just totally run ragged.

I’m a “massive” Bernardo fan and he was awesome but I thought the two standout players were Grealish and Kev, Foden a close third for leading the press. The rags were shitting it every time Kev ran straight at their defence. I’ll need to watch the match again on TV. You often get a different viewpoint LIVE to on the box

I’ve watched it again and agree with you. Bernardo was fantastic though

Colourado??
Colo colo colo colo colo colo colorado, spanish word for reddish, or ginger.... bastardy pronounced cow loo radoo by daft yaya yaya yaya yaya yaya yankis.

On another note, loving the colorado ginger pig and assorted crass of 92 and dipper loving cunts in the media melt down.

Buzzing after re-watching the match three times.

Fans were superb, massive Poznan and all.

Nah, honestly, just rewatched the first half. United went toe-to-toe for the first twenty minutes, twenty five max being really generous (without actually creating any danger other than the goal). From there on in, City are just bossing it.
They were definitely on it for 25 minutes. Very good pressing. They then couldn't keep that going as they're just not used to it.

Stonewall pen but we were never gonna get anything after last Saturday’s debacle and cos it was Oliver

I don't think that quite reflects all of what happened. A second or two of what went on before that was missed and I think that may be key. I have only watched live footage of the incident so I may be wrong but it appeared Foden was leaning into Maguire as Slabhead had got the angle on him. Based on what I did see, I am not convinced it was a pen.

I concur with your comments about Oliver :)

But but but we were told he was “tearing up the Bundesliga” and was the next big thing.

Are you seriously suggesting that City knew he was a billy big bollocks whose attitude was writing cheques his talent couldn’t cash?

AND that United fell for it hook line and sinker?

Implausible. Impossible. Unthinkable. Unprecedented.
Underpants

What a game, what a performance and what an atmosphere. Well worth the drive from Devon.

I was glad I was there, as listening to Talksh*te on the way back you wouldnt know City played - I heard how poor the rags were, how their Manager isnt for them, how Chelsea, City and Newcastle are ruining the league, how Mclaren (the twat) and to some extent Murphy feel that they should have kicked the snot out of us.....oh and City winning 4-1 convincingly with the performances didnt make Murphys top 3.

See you soon Manchester

Yeah, United actually gave us a decent game in the first 20-25 minutes but once they equalised we completely dominated and managed the game brilliantly from thereon in, particularly in the second half. As poor as United were after the break, it wasn't just down to them not playing well - for me, it was more a case of us making them look so poor.

Pep has often got his tactics wrong in home derbies and, dare I say, also under-estimated United a tad but I thought he got it spot on yesterday and it helped that the players were on it too of course.

Oddly enough I reckon he was underestimating OGS - I know he's nowhere near top managerial quality but he seemed to know what to do against us and it worked a treat.

He most likely has more respect for Rangnick and it showed yesterday.

Shows they know fuck all. Our possession/passing kept the rags running around and chasing shadows until they were exhausted. Hence the perceived lack of effort - they were knackered and demoralised by god's own.

Superb. Kyle walker doesn't get mentioned but he was immense, made loads of runs without getting the pass and completely emptied himself, it means a lot to him.
Foden also made great runs but rarely got the through ball, just too good and too slick for them.
We have broken utd, they are a shell of a club now.
Watched the full game today, Kyle didn’t put a foot wrong all game

I agree they made a decent fist of it for a while but we were too good for them. Once the third goal went in they knew it was done, they were knackered. The only time they saw the ball after that was when we gifted it to them. I have no idea why it's always got to be failings in the other side, not that we totally outclassed them.
