We never voted for closing the door to refugees. I don’t remember ever seeing that in any manifesto.
We voted for controlled Immigration similar to the Australian system. We have a proud history in this country for taking in refugees and that should continue.
Like most I want this country to take in ukranians, syrian refugees etc, anyone fleeing from war.

The UK got exactly what the majority voted for.
