Zelensky is smart. His words about NATO both put pressure on NATO and show compromise that Putin could start to think about twisting into victory.

As is your reply tbh. The Ukranian people are willing to fight and indeed die for their country. They know if they surrender there will never (as long as Putin is alive) peace.
They will not have e.u. or NATO security, the economy is dead, buildings in ruins and a madman attacking them throughout as he has done in the South.

The Guardian are reporting that parents have turned on the a governor of Siberia. Apparently the local police riot squad were told they were going on a training exercise in Belarus, of course they ended up fighting and dying in Ukraine.
Basically they were sent as cannon fodder.
