Football is a side issue Abramovich has been sanctioned, rightly. Chelsea as an asset included. It’s not even being cynical. I think football
Has entered a dangerous territory today, needlessly so. For the interests of everyone, the club should have allowed to have been sold. Their fans don’t deserve to not be able to attend games, buy merch and whatnot.
Allow it to be sold. The fans get their club, Ukraine and it’s desperate charities much needed money and the government can focus on red roms other assets. Football should have been left well out of this.
They will get sold but the proceeds and what happens to them won’t go to abramovich to decide what happens, nor should they. If a football club and its fans are caught up in it ,tough, there are bigger considerations and bigger casualties.
