Excellent. Take a bow.As Chelsea face up to a trophyless future with no money to spend on transfers, football fans begin to wonder how long government sanctions have been in place at Tottenham.

Why ?City must review how self-reliant the club operations are.
Seb CoeGobshite John Major's take should be interesting.
HmmmCity must review how self-reliant the club operations are.
I can answer that in one word. Totally.City must review how self-reliant the club operations are.
I'm having difficulty understanding your post. First of all I'm not clear what "cancel culture" is and therefore what its relevance to our club and country is. Then you make the dire consequences of "the spotlight falling on us and the Saudis at Newcastle" dependent on "what actually happens with Chelsea". HM government has sanctioned the Russian oligarch, Roman Abramovich and the freezing of his assets has important consequences for Chelsea. We don't know exactly what these consequences are yet, but you need to explain why on earth this should lead to a "spotlight on City. Or do you think the PL is leading the fight against "dirty Russian money" in London? And that City's money is dirty and that this is a crusade against "oil money" in general?Hope your right, but with cancel culture now reaching football clubs (and countries) as a whole I wouldn't be too certain about anything, rightly or wrongly. Depending on what actually happens with Chelsea, once that is through I can see the spotlight falling on us and the Saudis at Newcastle
Just got in from a work away-day and catching up with the news. Blimey.
Why ?
Not everyone thinks that a person or a club should be considered as a unique entity, for all good or bad. If things can be done against Chelsea, arbitrary, sudden, and justified, things can also happen to City, sudden and unjustified.
@manimac I've got a 2008 Chelsea home shirt. You can have it for a tenner. Never worn I bought it just before City were taken over.Fuckinell I wanted to buy some Chelsea crested nappies and Chelsea crested hankies.
I presume they've all been snapped up from the Cockley mardarses?

It's the same all over, the Middle East is certainly no differentI find this topic very interesting to say the least. Being from the Middle East (born and raised - moved to US for college), It's always intriguing when it comes to the West moral compass - very, very selective.

Not really. A dictator is invading a neighbouring democratic country and and killing civilians.I find this topic very interesting to say the least.
