What about Salah + Alvarez instead of Haaland if Mahrez leaves? Not saying I'm in for it but wanted to know what you guys think.

Not so sure, they seem to be pretty far apart in negotiations at the moment, and time is starting to run out. If he leaves, he will probably go to the place that offers him what he want and a good chance to win trophies. Fans are loyal, for players its a job.

The reason I posted that is because I had seen this rumor in the post following yours, that he would like to stay in the PL even if he leaves Liverpool. United is certainly among the very, very few that could potentially pay what he wants. We could, too. Chelsea in this mess? Arsenal? Newcastle?

The thing with him going to united. From looking at what Liverpool fans are saying Salah wants guarantees that the team he is at can challenge/win trophies, United can't really guarantee that.

Fck me that's enough to give any kid nightmares......having said that if they were Scum supporters they didn't deserve a good night's sleep anyway.

There’s always the illusion with a new manager coming in and his ego thinking “I can turn it around for them”… like I said, it wouldn’t be good!
