The people in British horse racing will love him...without UAE money it would be in big shit...just another prick jumping on the bandwagon...That got posted today? Fuckers a couple of weeks behind the times but I suppose he probably knows that.
This, USA 5th highest number of executions in 2020 according to the BBC but nothing said against American owners stillCan someone explain what is Wrong with UAE?
“Human rights”. The migrants don’t have to go and work there.
lot of moral outrage at 81 executions yesterday in Saudi Arabia but they have the death penalty and some people would bring that back here. The executed were apparently all terrorists. These football journalists have effectively decided that death penalty is wrong. Tell that to the US.
If Wigmore was a credible journalist he might have asked himself a question: "Why did the UAE and India abstain in the first vote?" According to the (usually credible source) Bloomberg it was to encourage a diplomatic solution, presumably involving India and China who also abstained, which many experts believe is the way forward to prevent World War 3.

Or forgot he wrote a book in 2018I think he probably was being ironic tbf.
Because it's fuck all to do with any genuine human rights crusade (apt), and everything to do with the likes of utd, arse and liverpool owners and fans not liking competition, on or off the pitch. Can someone explain what is Wrong with UAE?

And to do so, you'd need a pretty wealthy fan group to collectively own a majority share in a £3bn concern...AND the 51% thing is a myth. The fans don't actually own anything.
Who was it in his biography had a chapter about football chairmen/directors that was just a blank page? Cloughie? Joseph Holt has dimmed the memories somewhat these days. What splendid memories this evokes! And by heck, didn't they all look bonny lined up in their blazers with the club badges, all full of their own self-importance?! Halcyon days indeed!
(..as the Old Man would often say when seeing these crooks preening on tv or in the press - 'I wouldn't trust those bl**ders as far as I could throw them.. they're all bent as nine bob notes')
Seems the bbc have stopped updating the Prem table 'live'...strange that or maybe not (cough 5th cough)
It was Len Shackleton (Newcastle and Sunderland) in his autobiography, I believe. I think the chapter heading was "What directors know about football"Who was it in his biography had a chapter about football chairmen/directors that was just a blank page? Cloughie? oh the irony....
False equivalence."The migrants don't have to go go and work there." How the fuck do you know the migrants circumstances?"
The 81 people executed were "apparently all terrorists". Including the lad (17 at the time of the alleged offence - under the age of legal responsibility in Saudi) who was prosecuted for a photo in his phone.
When the Russians start executing Ukrainian "convicted terrorists", what will your position be? Telling that to the US?
Briefly, the UAE used to have a pretty repressive regime for migrant workers. For example, once you were contracted the employer could demand any hours of work they wished. Employers held your passport which meant you couldn't go and work for someone else or leave the country without the employers permission. Can someone explain what is Wrong with UAE?

Perhaps that's why we should judge.False equivalence.
We are too soft in this country so who are we to judge?
Allegedly the Telegraph have been taking money off Russia for years. Have they condemned the invasion? Why let facts get in the way of a malicious story?
Deeply ironic in the way only Ronay can be. Given his criticism of politicians for having a pop at Russia hosting 2018 and mixing sport and politics. Or is ironic another word for hypocritically twattishI think he probably was being ironic tbf.
