At least the lads didn’t lose at the end there. On to the next one. Best for me not to remember that game. Wake up tomorrow and start my new week.
I don't put money on anything4 points clear and almost certainly lost the title..how much have you put on Liverpool?
Dont tell me I know it’s nothing.
What you don’t understand is Palace was moving the lines well and defended with their lives. We found it hard to pass through the lines. Great effort from the team tonight. Can not fault their desire to win.Mahrez was terrible and looked like he couldn't be arsed. Grealish bright but felt as if Bernardo just kept getting in his way.
We lack efficiency and tempo at times. The constant slow passing backwards was infuriating.
If we win all of our games (bar the liverpool game) and liverpool win all of theirs they will win the leagueNo, it really isn’t.
Any right minded city fan knows that. Grealish is a good player but he was a luxury we didn’t really need let’s be honestShould have spent the hundred million on a striker instead
Having players play in positions they don’t play or expectations on them when they are not strikers is down to tactics. The players tried their best but they are not instinctive strikers. Aguero bags a hatrick tonightI don’t get that. Bernardo, Mahrez and Laporte not finishing chances is why we didn’t win that, not tactics. It’s not as if we didn’t create the chances.
And you base this on what mate? If we want to be honest with ourselves and take stock of our games since that stupid mini break, we've been hit and miss, hot and cold, but realistically the quality of our game in total has been mediocre at best. And this chilling fact is the same teams and the same tactics applied against us and Pep seems totally unable to counter it. We played as a team with a massive weight around our necks and the result shows it. The real eye opener is we've played worse in the second half, we created less and we were very conservative, almost scared how we let them countered us in the first half. Right now we are looking like a team grinding it to a halt at any harder obstacle. I am actually really depressed right now, fuck it!Disappointed not to win but it's not the end of the world or the end of our time at the top of the table.
We need to go into the Liverpool game in the position where we're still top if it's a draw. If we're top after that game then I fancy us to hang on because we're usually excellent during the run in.
Soton on a shit run of form but undoubtedly we will begin slowly and give them every encouragementAnd Southampton up next in the cup.
Cheered me up - yep and 1 point clear and they still have to play the 2 best form teams aeay
Zoom out please
On form, we are going to drop more than them that's the problemIf Liverpool dont drop any points fairplay to them but I cant see that happening
When does he ever make subs?I think at the start of this season.
Many of us felt having no recognized Striker would cost us at some point.
Unfortunately for us it is happening at the business end of the season.
Astonished he made no changes, players were dead on their feet out there.
