Harry Kane

Bottom line......an amazing player who would fit us like a glove,and improve us superbly by providing the finishing we are very much lacking.

I'd still prefer Haaland,but that's mainly from a longevity perspective.However, if we can get Kane for a good price,he still has at the very least 3 seasons in him.

A wonderful footballer,not just a striker,who would complete us.

Agreed 100%. The only way Levy would play ball is if we paid £150m or Kane put in a transfer request & we offered £130m.

Kane fucked this up last season. It was evident he wanted City, but he cared too much about his Spurs legacy to put in the transfer request needed to blow the transfer wide open.

He's had an up & down season for his troubles. He's 29 soon & still hasn't won a major trophy in his career. Added to the fact that UCL qualification is Spurs' main goal this season & maybe next season too, if we were to put in a serious bid again for Kane, would he again be reluctant to hand in a transfer request again?

Somehow if we did go back for him, surely it would be on the proviso that he hands in that request first, before we make an official approach. \0/

I think Kane thought we would pay the 150 tbh, I remember there was that leaked story from a showbiz reporter where he was bragging about city paying that for him. Probably didn’t think he’d have to go nuclear to force a move.

If he'd put his career ahead of remaining a Spuds legend, Spuds would have got their money, Kane his move, & City the Centre Forward we needed. \0/
