nobody said anything when winning trophies long time ago but still won stuff with them in charge

They haven't, and probably never will, come to terms with the idea that no football team is 'entitled'! They carry this around as though it precedes every game and every season, every competition, every manager, every owner! They are instilled to believe that they should be top, first, wealthiest, and most successful team on the planet. But football is a fickle friend!

I know a few who feel relief after going out as the thought of us or Liverpool trouncing them over 2 legs was making them ill

It's difficult to comprehend how a team with all that finance available can use it's spending power to acquire one of the best finishers ever; one of the most sought after youngsters in Europe; and what was supposed to be a 'Rolls Royce' of a defender, to add to a squad that finished runners-up in the league last season, only to go into reverse. Can you imagine how disappointing it must be to have made such a massive investment and then, not just fail to improve, but lurch backwards. Imagine that; all that promise and hype at the start of the season; "winning" the league after the thrashing of a terrible Newcastle team at the season's start; clinging to the promise of silverware as the team juddered to the occasional victory; the glorious memories inspired by Ronaldo's (often late) goals getting them out of jail. All that hope - dashed by 2nd and 3rd rate teams as they were dumped out of cup after cup. The ignominy of being totally - hopelessly - outclassed, on and off, the field by their nearest neighbours, after having dreams of usurping their position when the season kicked off last August.
Difficult to comprehend how this is happening, but, it shows no sign of stopping any time soon. I suspect the fallout from last night will linger for some time as certain rats start deserting the sinking ship, and the state of denial will continue as to how shit they've become.

Moaning about the ref was funny as fuck giving it was the Rags moaning.

Seriously, how do their players get away with so much so often. Ronaldo did the glasses hand gesture to his eyes which is always a booking, nope. Then running after the ref over the non foul instead of following the play which led to the goal.

Fernandez is up there with the most unlikeable players in football history, does nothing but dive, scream like a girl and moan. They played much better without him v Spurs as he just has an awful mentality.

Highest spend and wages in football and look where they are in a crumbling stadium. If it wasn't for De Gea and PL officials they would be mid table and its why they think they are hard done by when they are officiated correctly, ie Ellanga diving after losing the ball and the ref rightly ignored it, as in the PL Refs bend over and give that to them, similar to soft Dipper free kicks.

Seeing Scholes cry last night at the very end of the coverage was hilarious, and long may the Media big them up (they will no doubt be back after their next win) and hopefully Ferguson hangs around stinking the place out for years to come.

There are many reasons why the rags are in such disarray - the GPC refusing to leave well alone, disastrous managerial appointments, too many below-average players earning more in a couple of days than the likes of us would earn in a lifetime, but one of their biggest problems is the media. You cannot ever read a negative word about the club regardless of what is happening.
We have the tabloids constantly singing their praises, Sly/BT and the rest employing former rags only as co-presenters,
and sycophantic no-marks using social media platforms to spread propaganda and downright lies to the rag followers in the Far East.

As Putin is doing now to his fellow countrymen regarding the Ukrainian issue, so the British press and assorted media outlets are doing in their unwavering support of all things rag - spreading false narrative in order to boost morale.
