Joe Hart

That comes across as a fair and measured comment from Joe. He is not whining just telling it like it is. I thought Joe was mostly great for City, accepting some of the flaws in his game. I think he is one of the best keepers I have ever seen at one-on-ones for instance. But he couldn't do what Ederson has done for us (perhaps not Bravo) and it was the right decision by Pep. But Joe will always be a City legend and he has had a fantastic career at club and international level. Pep has always been respectful when he discusses him as well.

It all sounds to me like two adult professionals amicably agreeing to disagree and Joe leaving with his head held high.

Nothing Joe or Pep have said since suggest there was anything personal in it at all. I certainly don’t see any drama here.

It’s sad that Joe had a rough few years but seems to have found his feet again at Celtic, good luck to him!

My thoughts exactly.

One on one he was the best. Bet he won more than50%.

I don’t think joe has ever truly got over what happened at City and as a result he’s never been the same keeper. Maybe it was arrogance or denial on his part but it was no secret pep was coming in at City and the way he wanted his keeper to play.

With that in mind he should have started preparing a lot earlier with his footwork and showing that he had been proactive in getting to grips with what pep expects from a keeper.

Joe Hart was a fantastic servant to the club and never bad mouths us. He had some major flaws in his game which once exposed surprised me to be honest that in a premier league keeper had such obvious weaknesses. However he made some wonderful stops and will always be fondly remembered at City.

Respectful business between two men. I like how Hart speaks in this article. No bitterness, acceptance of the way it is and respectful in how he spoke to Pep at the time.

At the time though he just have looked at Bravo and felt really shit. It’s just another sign of the progression of the club.

Think he also had some issues going on in his personal life at that time as well, bit of a perfect storm

Yes. Very different to the way that dickhead Nuno dealt with him at Spurs

Loved Joe and find it weird and sad on how he lost form so quick.
The signs were there before Pep arrived but Torino,Burnley and Spurs was still a shock.
Can mind when the low shots to the left weakness was mentioned on here at first I thought what a load of shite.
Next couple of games sure enough I started noticing it.
Anyway good to see him doing well at Celtic.Hopefully loses his form again against Hearts.

Joe Hart's performance against Borrusia Dortmund (Home) in the champions league 2012-13 is the best I've ever seen by a City Keeper. He was incredible that night. Beats even Bobby MacDonald v Watford Home 1982!

I still think that he was better than that in the opening game of the 2010/11 season at Shite Hart Lane.

I noticed that specky prick, Jordan Spunkdrinker, having a go a Joe calling him useless on that radio show he frequents.

I have never worked out who the bellend is. A no mark **** calling out a great player? Sums him up.
