Upon further consideration, I think 7th is perfect for them. It gets them into Europe, but not really. A Thursday night in Krakow in February would be a lovely way to warm up for a Sunday afternoon at Newcastle. The matchday revenues at the swamp will certainly be enormous for a group stage meeting with Zorya Luhansk. They can turn the lights off on both upper tiers and claim 74000 were in attendance, which is only the denial of reality. The arrogant rags will put many of their u-23's on the pitch which will only backfire on them as they are not talented enough to win there. Long may they wander around the backwaters of European football with the faded red flag of glory waving in the Uzbekistan night.

The ’rag cafe’ thread on Haaland is getting quite hilarious.
It originally started out very bullish and their consensus was that he’s brilliant and that they should get him, and that’s how it pretty much remained until yesterday when ESPN issued a report where Haaland had said that Untied weren’t being considered as a destination because they, as a club, couldn’t match his ambition.

Their consensus has now done a complete about-turn as they now recon that he’s become too expensive not really that good any more :-D

I think you can read their entire thinking from another quite old thread’s title iirc ‘potential transfers that might improve us (other than Haaland)’
Just that alone, shows:
1. Haaland is the number 1 transfer target on everyone’s wish list
2. They know Haaland is not going there

everything else falls into the ‘didn’t want him anyway’ type whingefest

They'll pay daft money for Kane this summer based upon one decent game against us. Ticks all the rag recruitment boxes - overpriced, over the hill, ingerlund.

definitely not a rag. A team who blew a 2-1 lead against Burnley and got walloped by Crystal Palace 4-0 are going to have problems with United.

Alphonso Davies not a big fan of Harry Maguire it seems…

Whilst not wishing to defend Maguire, the carthorse's ability or his suitability to captain a top team (he's way short on ability and leadership), the biggest thing I take away from that clip is that Alphonso Davies is a total prick.

I would expect that sort of opinion from a 10 year old. As if a good player can't be captained by a worse player. (Well, he probably can't when the good player is an egotistical prick like Ronaldo). And a professional openly saying that about one of his peers is a disgrace.

If Maguire ever plays against Davies I hope he two foots him. He's got no chance of keeping up with him though. And unlikely to ever play Munich in a competitive game. Still, I'd be all for it
