The fact Villarreal in Champions League semi kind of shows the farce of ‘the champions league’

It’s mostly played by non-champions and it’s not a league system. “Champions League” is a stupid bloody name for the competition.

Same as the “Championship”. The championship is what you win when you win the Premier League, naming the second tier the “Championship” is bizarre.
