Here’s a side with something to actually play for that you’d figure they desperately want (as in a CL spot) against the side that’s supposed to be their greatest rival, with the added inspiration of putting in a performance for a club-legend teammate (and best non-keeper player this season) who’s gone through an awful and unspeakable personal tragedy, AND with a bunch of these players auditioning for a spot with a new manager next season.

It’s not that they suck that’s shocking — it’s that they couldn’t give any less of a FUCK despite ALL of this.

No sorry, if a rags win helps us I'd take it all day long, especially given the luck Liverpool seem to have. A rags win is not going to help either of them, and the last thing we need is Liverpool to rack up another haul of goals, it might come down to that in a few weeks time, and them going top puts the pressure back on us a bit more.

Bollocks to that. If we don't win the league on our own results, we don't deserve it. Relying on others failing is weakness.
