Injury Updates

I wonder if that was what Pep was referring to when he said he didn’t like anyone boozing straight after a match…or words to that affect.

I don’t get the Walker is finished this season rumours..he is clearly walking about in socks in the picture never mind a protective boot.

Its crossing my mind that Pep might be losing faith in him after his sending off and a few other incidents off field.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Pep carried on with everyone is fit fit except Kyle and no comment on his expected return but it really doesn’t look like he has the type of injury that would keep him out for more than a couple of matches to me.

Walker will play when fit. He's our best full back and Pep loves him.

It doesn't make sense to keep Walker's injury in secret if it's so bad that he won't play again this season. It's not like we will surprise the opposition by remaining silent on the extent of the injury, given that Pep says before any game who's available. The club must have known by Monday how bad the injury is. That nothing definitive has been said so far makes me optimistic rather than pessimistic.

Potentially 5 weeks until the end of the season so it’s unlikely that Pep would rule him out for the season if there’s a possibility he could be available for a CL final. But Pep is usually fairly straight when it comes to talking about injuries and for him to say that he doesn’t know when Walker will be available suggests to me that he will not be available for Watford or Real Madrid

Jack Gaughan said on 9320 podcast that Cugat had recommended he didn’t need surgery.

On one hand that is good news but on the other…I don’t think he’s seeing a specialist like Cugat for diagnosis unless there is something pretty wrong with that ankle.
