Another month of this crap is going to drive everyone mental, ‘he prefers Madrid, he’s injury prone, release clauses, paid more that the entire Burnley squad, blah blah blah blah friggin blah’.

Sit tight laugh at it all and wait, that’s my approach on this one.

I think another nice signing might slip in under the radar too as all this noise continues. Big names in - big name out.

if they dont get mbappe they could definitely comeback and offer haaland way more than we are offering him. They could basically give him mbappes contract which is insane. Lucky for us Haaland isnt a winger so it wouldn't work out very well as a like for like switch since they still have benzema.
 
we can't technically sign haaland until the summer anways because the transfer window isn't open right? so it will always be possible to collapse until then.

I'm happy to be wrong about this.

I swear he said the same about KDB when we bought him.

Writing in his Daily Star column, Merson said: "City getting Erling Haaland won't make them unstoppable - I'd rather have Harry Kane! Kane is a better player in my opinion. Haaland is lightning quick. But Kane is better all-round player who is proven in this league and you know he'll be a hit for you.

If they are willing to give Haaland way more than we are offering him then why wouldn't they just give that to their main target, Mbappe?...and who is to say they can out bid us?...looks to me like they may have overestimated their "ALLURE" and may find out PSG's money trumps that BS...in which case they will wind up with neither...

A player can only physically change clubs during the transfer windows, but all arrangements and agreements for transfers can happen any time of the year.
