My two rescues, Bess and Blue.
Sorry to hear that, our first Beagle had cancer of the jaw, he was about 11, the vet removed half his jaw, amazingly he had no problem eating. This is Enya unfortunately just diagnosed with bone cancer in her jaw tumour visible to rear of mouth. Given her age 11 decided to spoil her rotten for her final monthsView attachment 41068

My first Beagle had loads of lumps and growths, all were fatty deposits and never caused him any problems, I think it’s something the breed are susceptible too as one my current Beagle has one too.View attachment 41109View attachment 41108
This is mine, suppose he’s similar to Vince’s dog and not too long left, he’s over 15 now, but that lump on his chest has gotten bigger last 18 months, vets say it’s fine and not causing him any problems, but still feel things could change, he still manages to do over 4 miles a day though.

I’ve always thought he had some Lab in him, a couple of Lab breeders I spoke to once said without a doubt, but he’s had that lump since we got him from the Beagle rescue centre, so I guess it was likely he was always going to be a bit lumpy if he has Beagle and Lab genes, he’s been a fabulous dog though mate, a pain in the arse at times, but I suppose you can’t expect any different with them.My first Beagle had loads of lumps and growths, all were fatty deposits and never caused him any problems, I think it’s something the breed are susceptible too as one my current Beagle has one too.
No you can’t , Ive had dogs all my life, Spaniels , Retrievers but BeagLes are by far the naughties, funniest and most cunning.I love them to bits though.I’ve always thought he had some Lab in him, a couple of Lab breeders I spoke to once said without a doubt, but he’s had that lump since we got him from the Beagle rescue centre, so I guess it was likely he was always going to be a bit lumpy if he has Beagle and Lab genes, he’s been a fabulous dog though mate, a pain in the arse at times, but I suppose you can’t expect any different with them.
