You're wrong. No away goal bias now. It'd be extra timeCorrect me if I am wrong but if madrid win 1-0 they will advance
was it though? turning in the air you need your arms out. he went to head the ball and headed the ballI don’t think there’s anything in the rules about that, was that a premier league guideline thing at one point?
His arm was in an unnatural position so it was a clear handball to me.
Previous round against Athletico? Whilst I wouldn’t say we where awful, we definitely rode our luckTo be fair to Madrid its a trait we dont have. Cant remember the last time we played awful and got an undeserved result. I know we beat Madrid but thats never a 3 2 game. But theres loads of games weve dominated and not won. Lets hope it doesn't come back to bite us on the arse next week
I agree it was an unfortunate one more than anything really, his arm shouldn’t be there but the way it deflected off his head to arm was just bad luck. But it’s hard to see how they would come up with rules where that kind of thing isn’t handball. It got put in the rules in 2019 and got taken out for this season.
I’ve always thought with the handballs like Laportes though, it’s more deserving of an indirect free kick than a penalty, seems an overly harsh punishment for the crime. Admittedly it’d be a nightmare at times to decide though.
No mate, it will go to extra time & if it's still 4-4, it's penalties. Away goals no longer count as double.Correct me if I am wrong but if madrid win 1-0 they will advance

Ahh well , we still won with that defense
I make them slight favorites but hopefully walker will be back as well cancelo
Got one blasted at him.Eddy definitely did
Sorry peoWe were brilliant. Never a pen it it hits his head first he has to have his hands up for balance!
Indeed. He was way too tight on him to react. Lovely assist for the Foden goal mind.
Fully agree great game of ball.Think both teams deserve credit for the way that game was played too. Was a world away from the atletico game, felt like it was a well spirited and fairly contested game by both teams all through (which is rare nowadays).
fair enough but Laporte was never getting near him his best bet was to close the middle downDon’t agree. Laporte had to come across - it was a terrible decision by him. So obvious that he was the only one who had a chance to shut that down.

At least we didn’t have that Everton one given against us - and that might end up winning us the premier league and sending Everton down.
The 3rd goal was unlucky, there was nothing he could do about that1st - Mahrez shits out of a tackle against fucking Modric.
2nd - Fern misses a tackle on the halfway line and Laporte watches Vinicius run 60 fucking yards and jogs alongside him without engaging.
3rd - Laporte heads against his own hand.
Laporte more guilty than Fern. Just watch the angle of his defensive run.I said it after the FA cup semi - Fern is done at the top level. When he gets up to top speed he's not far off the pace but whenever he needs to turn and chase he loses 2 / 3 yards to most players now. Against jnr it was 5 / 6 yards. That clear weakness changed the game for us - we had to drop deeper quickly once we lost it and that doesn't suit our style at all.
Feel free to correct me on any pointAfter reading your post I’m thinking it’s a miracle how we managed to win. Pure luck I guess!
