The Conservative Party

apology made to avoid costly legal proceedings I understand..................not sure whether the wig is party to it though

Don’t think that is the case. The claimants in libel/slander action need to be specific enough that you can identify them.

The cheek of it is this govt is so keen with informing everyone they pass laws and agree trade deals then deny MP's the right to scrutinize their action

Four years but needs time , hmmm

Mr Kwarteng also admitted that the scheme to deal with sexual misconduct allegations in parliament, which was set up in 2018, "isn't working sufficiently well" but "needs time to really get going"

Also dont close the bars

In the same way we all did.

I just think there are wider problems in the House that need addressed, and turning the clock back on a place that needs to be more modern, not less, would be the wrong move.
One of the biggest problems that needs addressing is trust. How confident are you that all those that we see head down, tapping away are using them for parliamentary purposes?

I’ve no idea, though like many people these days I’d imagine the line between private/public is increasingly blurred. I certainly don’t expect them to be watching pornography, however. FDC60AF5-9A06-4EC6-A9C0-062CCE27825B.jpeg

Parliament needs to be moved to modern fit for purposes buildings.

It would be cheaper to do that than the billions of our money being given to keep that money pit functional.

A purpose built structure - safe and secure - somewhere around the place where the M1 and the M6 meet handy for the airport - they only problem is those that would have to vote for it include a majority who make millions ££££'s moonlighting at companies and in courts in LONDON
