The club needs to start an official player matchmaking service. Give them the Vinny treatment, find them a nice Manc woman to nail their feet inside the M60. Erling for starters.

I honestly can’t get away from the view that Grealish is supposed to be the KDB successor. I think his skill set means he’s equipped for exactly that.

FdJ I see in a role where we currently have no player - the role that Pep intended for Gundogan in the CL final last year. A hybrid “false CDM” if you will. He’s truly quite the all rounder. Not the most physical guy, but he’s uniquely capable of playing CDM in a way we currently don’t have.

I think that Foden is more likely than Grealish to fill the KDB role. Him and FDJ would be immense along side a quality enforcer.
 
If FDJ happens, a Haaland, Alvarez, FDJ window would be absolutely fantastic, and for a relatively minimal outlay.

Hang on to Bernie and Gabby, and get a solid FB and potentially a pacey winger with an eye for goal and my boner might last the entire window.

Same, i think they'd address it if Sterling went. Jesus not so much Alvarez looks quicker

Yeah definitely, it'd be nice to have multiple threats. Against Liverpool in the second league game, Pep's tactics included the ball over the top to beat the press - having a couple to aim at would be
 
So De Jong and Pogba as replacements for Gundo and Fernandinho?

I wouldn't say bad, but think city can do better like the 22 yr old French kid from Monaco and Bellingham next year. Though we don't know if those 2 are actively on the market for City.

Hope we can retain Bernardo though, that's key in my opinion
