Time for both fans and the team to hold their nerve, four wins and we win the league. Need to refreshen up a little:

Ed, Cancelo, Dias, Ake, Zinchenko, Rodri, KDB, Foden,
Grealish, Sterling, Mahrez
Apparently pep hasn't even spoken to the players yet since....'THAT' Can't be right...we need a proper plan to win this one ...

He was making the point that there is no words to ease the pain immediately. Don’t worry we will have a plan.
Hope thats right and not gone into his shell. It must be terrible as a player and manager this.. i know it is for us..but losing like that...snatched from jaws of victory etc.. tough gig getting everyone on same hymn sheet ..but he has a great team around him to do just that..huge roar 1950's style when the lads run out..show these media fu ckers for what they are...championees..championees

Not sure if you watched his press conference, that’s a man who is driven and passionate.

Nice morale boosting 4-0 would be nice.

Fingers crossed but this is such a huge game -one slip and our Season could meltdown.

I am reminded of the old Proverb:

"For want of a nail the shoe was lost.
For want of a shoe the horse was lost.
For want of a horse the rider was lost.
For want of a rider the battle was lost.
For want of a battle the kingdom was lost.
And all for the want of a horseshoe nail"

..........and all for the want of a striker.

He’ll probably speak to them tomorrow, use it as a motivating factor. But it’s absolutely right that he didn’t discuss it immediately after match. The players need to be given time to process their disappointment.

Not sure about that. Do you not think the players won't have been texting each other ,apportioning blame maybe or maybe coming together . Pep needed to give some clear short confident message to re-establish direction. Just my view...

If you listen to his words carefully, the not speaking was more that no words can help with the disappointment so soon after. He went onto say each day we are better, so to know that they must have spoken. Think some are taking his comments too literally.

Considering the twitter accounts have been quiet with no usual 'win some, lose some' bullshit, I suppose this is how everybody is relaxing for tomorrow's training

This is a must win game against an inform team.as our next three games are going to be difficult. Cant stsnd the thought of scousers wining the quad

There are no words for that situation. And what Pep said he did and what actually happened may be quite different anyway.

I thought he said all of the right things yesterday.

I have woken up feeling good this morning. CL is done. But the league is there to fight for still and that's a wonderful position to be in. Show our support to the lads tomorrow, cheer them on to a big win and go open up that 4pt gap.

Has he spoken to the players yet? I really hope so We have a game tomorrow and worried we might not have a plan. Oooh I’m ever so worried that he’s not spoken to them flap flap flappy flap
