He hasn't lost his ability or his strengths,he simply isnt being encouraged to use them.You only have to look at the impact he made against the possible CL winners the other night when he was let off the leash.....

Becasue we encourage it by playing backwards and sideways and allowing the opposition to get behind the ball quicker than we attack.

Personally if I were him I'd ignore Pep's instructions and play my natural game. If he ended up winning us a game doing that then it's gonna be hard for Pep to turn around and bollock him for ignoring his instructions.
