Iv gone for a loss. I think the pressure will be too much today especially after the gruelling midweek game. These things usually go that way but lets see, this is City!

I think that dipper result last night may have given the players a huge boost for today, that’s how I see it anyway.

He was bought on the back of the bums off seats performances at Villa,a player who ran at defences and caused havoc or gained a free kick - that has all stopped here,under instruction,in favour of passing sideways and backwards.......So what was the point in signing him?

So explain why Pep would do that yet other players (Sterling Foden Jesus Mahrez Bernardo all run at players and have done throughout their careers at city - yet for some reason Pep has put the reigns on Grealish

Could it be that Grealish himself has put the reigns on....He himself is takign the easy options....I do remember an interview with Pep where he said of Grealish that he needs to be braver or something along those lines with regard to getting into goal scoring positions....

If it is anyone who is putting the reigns on its Grealish himself

I personally believe in paying for what I use, but the Liverpool bias is just bloody outrageous on that network. I wouldn't pay the subscription fee. I'd find some site I could rip it off. It is amazing that Carragher just appears to have total licence to be openly and rabidly for the team that he happened to once play for. Ever the former rags don't have, or don't take, that licence.
Just shows that the whole notion of ‘punditry’ is utter bollox.
Suggestion, though. Watch the match, but turn down the sound and put on GMR commentary from the radio. I watch matches on RMC 1 (France) and that's what I do. The Liverpool bias, combined with pig ignorance of what the history of English football actually is, makes the French commentators unbearable. They actually believe that Liverpool and Liverpool fans invented “You'll never walk alone”. Makes me vomit.

Personally if I were him I'd ignore Pep's instructions and play my natural game. If he ended up winning us a game doing that then it's gonna be hard for Pep to turn around and bollock him for ignoring his instructions.

I recall Thierry Henry doing that for Barca ignoring team instructions & scoring a goal .
Pg went & subbed him right away .
