Rodris been our best player this season for me.
No chance he gets rotated out for de jong

Rodri is starting every big game next summer no matter what happens this summer, with FdJ if he comes alongside him. Depending on who comes and goes in our frontline and if Bernardo stays I can see Kev turning into a righ-winger in a lot of games next season.

FdJ can probably play the pivot to great effect in lesser games but his true value is more in the Gundogan role imo

Nope. We wanted Kane, but the prices were insane and Dortmund were not prepared to sell Erling. Things changed in December and the green light has been late January.

Mino and hid dad are owed a lot of credit, but the lad has dreamed of playing here and was heartbroken when he thought Kane would happen.

I'm sure he will reveal all.

I agree Rodri has been great this season but there will be plenty of games for everyone. There were times this season Rodri looked like he could use a rest but we couldn't because Dinho's legs have gone. de Jong allows us to do that plus he can play further forward when needed as well.

Re FDJ - undoubtedly a top player but doesn't seem the quickest? He seems to operate at Gundogan pace.

I'm hoping next season we see some real pace and bite in the midfield.

I think its more down to Barcelone needing to sell someone to fund their rebuild, and of their players who could bring in a big fee (Pedri, Ansu Fati, maybe Gavi & FDJ), FDJ is the one it would make most sense to sell basically.
