This government is by far the worst in living memory, we're being lead and lied too by fuckiing imbeciles, they treat us like fools, the brexit deceit is crippling the country, we're heading for double digit inflation, food banks are springing up on every high Street, fuel bills are off the scale.
We have a government with no answers or solutions, our leader ( and I use that term lightly) is a bumbling fucking moron, he has no regard or respect for laws which he was responsible for, I don't know how deep an hole we are in but we're digging it deeper by the day.
I don’t think the EU or the Irish Gov itself, would agree.its no different to any previous Tory governments....other than social media
Nah.Out of touch Tory bastard.
Next one will say "Work shall set you free"
They don't care about Joe Public because they know the public is sufficiently stupid to believe Tory lies and vote them in again. They are so far away from reality in Britain and how Joe public exists
metalblue. Sound views, well put. Move job / do more jobs / learn to cook / leave those capitalist giants alone to invest to grow our economy and don’t windfall tax them etc.Whatever next? Tax the poorly paid more to encourage them to get better paid jobs?
They have the levers at their disposal, starting with the minimum wage. For the past 20 years the tax payer has been propping up the profits of companies like Tesco who continue to post [mostly] increasing profits - whilst paying their staff less, in real terms, than they did a decade ago. It’s a race to the bottom and our benefits system is supporting it and this is the real scandal in this country that we are sleep walking with. Forget populist “windfall taxes” on energy companies - because they seem like a simple and “just” solution - when in reality it’s the long term systematic abuse by these large corporations that has got us where we are today, where an average salary no long buys you an average house or where you can’t afford to live your life.

Almost every day another tone deaf sound bite from our esteemed leaders.
My friends laugh at me now and I have to dial it in when in company but come the Autumn at the latest when the option to live without heating has gone and living costs have truly been out of control for some time I suspect that there will be some serious unrest.
A mixture of being morally bankrupt and thickYet people will still vote for them.

I must question that. Some time ago when I was a teacher I used to do marking fit exam boards and met a retired lady who complained bitterly that she had to pay NI on her extra earnings!!Dunno if you are aware but if you are in receipt of a state pension you are not required to pay NI on the pension nor any earnings if you are still working.
Today however it has been confirmed that state pensioners still in work WILL be required to pay the NI 1.2% NHS surcharge.
Mustn't tax the oil giants but here grandma give us some tax off the wages you get from that cleaning job that you were hoping to use to pay for your heating - what a fucking Nasty Party
