So we're going to call him a racist over one comment in the heat of battle?...I don't condone what he said one bit, but I'm not going to brand him a racist off it...what's his history?...there's a big difference between talking out of your ass in the middle of a match and actually being a racist...maybe he is, but his one off insult to Militao doesn't prove that... just proves he was ignorant and out of line...

What the hell… if you want to insult someone and what you come up with is a racist slur, that definitely makes you a racist. There is absolutely no excuse or relativism.

But can he be remarked as a "racist" for all eternity? Can people change and learn from these things? It's unfair imo to call someone a racist for one remark, a long time ago... Benefit of the doubt that people can change and learn from it, otherwise people will stay the same forever.

How is this a long time ago lol? It was two years ago. He didn’t come out with an apology, he just lined up behind the “excuse” Getafe’s lawyers created, the same one as always. Sorry but for me it’s not okay. And not something I want to continue to debate myself as it’s absolutely sickening

Fair enough. I'm just a firm believer in change. Just like i dont see Bernardo as a racist, or Cavani.

So hes a racist forever then? You cannot have it both ways if you cannot allow people to change and get the recognition of changing? Where the insentive to change if everyone calls you a racist forever? Makes no sense and it's unfair, especially for one incident.
