It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

Don't think Leeds will go down, and I don't think Phillips is good enough but happy to be proven wrong on both accounts. I definitely think we need to strenghten our midfield elsewhere if we end up buying Phillips for the Fernandinho role.

Not gonna comment on the Cucurella racist stuff, because I have no idea how that whole thing played out, but watching him this season and he looks perfect slotting in for us

Why would he ever be the main midfielder? Either Rodri or an injury crisis at the eight position would be needed for him to be starting every game.

He wouldn't be a main midfielder as we have Rodri and if none of the others leave I don't think we need anyone else.

I agree, but would he move here for that kind of role?

Would you not rather look at a club like Spurs, where he could start every week and play in the CL, Especially with the world cup in November?

Well we know Dinho is leaving, I think Gundo could leave as well.

In this scenario, this would leave us needing two midfielders.

If Phillips wants to take the Fernandinho role than by all means I would be totally ok with that, But I feel we need to prepare for the future I think we should go for a better player

A players doesn’t always move to start at first? Grealish moved from Villa knowing fairly well he wouldn’t be the main man. He’d be playing in CL and pushing for all the cups, which is still a great amount of games
 
Phillips has very good passing range. Don’t know how good he is defensively. Would be another weapon to our side. He could play very well in our high possession based team

If its from Insta, its not there now. Looks to be from about 2016 ish though looking at some other photos in the same kit with other players. He;d have been 16/17 ish
