They are training with the group and not on their own so hopefully it means they are in contention. Is Pep’s press conference tomorrow?
 
To tell you the truth the thought of either of them being in the starting eleven is enough to settle the nerves. Ake can play either on the left or in the centre, all of sudden we look like a team difficult to score against again.
 
Yup Walker the main one for me

Even Walker-Ake-Laporte-Cancelo would be fine with Stones on the bench.

Presumably both are actually fit if they are training with the group rather than individually.

Should both play barring any reaction / setbacks.
 
I had a feeling Pep was playing us when he said they were out for the season. Hopefully they've had a bit extra to recover than they did for the Real Madrid games. Shame Dias isn't available too! Gives us better options. Watkins is very quick in behind and Ings is also pretty sharp. Walker would make a huge difference. Would be happy with Walker, Laporte, Ake, Cancelo. Gives us pace both sides of defence then.

Presumably they're fit if they're training at all... if not what would the point them being there, they'd have finished early for the summer

I don't think Pep would have them training if he didn't think there was a chance of either or both playing on Sunday. Pep would have told them to rest and come back fit for pre-season training.

It's in! One or both if they stay injury free at the end of the training sessions this week.

There's definitely a chance of one or more playing but it's not cut and dried.
 
It’s a gamble whether you start KW & JS, if they’re not at least 90% match ready it’s a huge gamble, some would play em on one leg, but think back to the CL ties against RM, when KW & JS went off in the relevant ties it gave the opposition a lift, a massive lift & we all know what happened. I’d personally start both but we’d need to have a lead going into the second half. They shouldn’t have anywhere near the amount of defending they had in the RM games so if they do start I’d expect them to complete most of the game or until it’s a formality
