Aston Villa (H) Post Match Thread

They just showed it on MOTD and I couldn't see an "assault". I've seen worse from old ladies at the bingo.

Unless there is more to it that we haven't seen it just looked like the keeper being a soft twat. They shouldn't have been on the pitch in the first place though and leave us wide open to media attacks.

It was an assault as soon as the lad was touched. Like I said, if idiots are going to go on the pitch, they should stay away from the players.

It's all monkey see, monkey do nowadays.

I'm not a fan of pitch invasions, but I can understand why it happens with all the emotions coming to a head at the end of the game. Whilst I can sort of understand the desire to get closer to the players and rejoice in the win with them (which the majority seemed to be doing), I just can't for the life of me what possesses a small minority to go berserk and wreck the goal posts, and even worse taunt or slap our opponents' players for no justifiable reason. What on earth are these cretins thinking of!
