People need to put away the fan boy banners and look at this realistically. Sterling isn't a City lad he's a londoner, as well as that he appears to have his head ensconced up his own arse.

I would like to thank him for his service to City then try to get as much moolah for him as we possible can.

While players play for our club, we should support them. If they choose to leave, we should wish them well. There is no reason for anyone to be critical of Raheem, who has been an excellent player for us. The future, with Alvarez and Palmer and Haaland is an exciting one, regardless of who stays and who leaves.

Christ , the hate runs deep

Telegraph: Selling one or all of Werner, Ziyech and Pulisic could see Chelsea consider a move for Raheem Sterling
Ive always felt Chelsea would suit him, they need more penetration and less mucking about. Dont know if they would let him go to a "competitor" though..
All of this depends on what he want though, he might yet stay on a new deal.

i'd like to see him stay for at least 1 season with the big man in hte middle. If he wants to leave for more game time or doesnt quite get on with pep he'll leave with my sincere thanks as he's been a great servant to the club.

Using one example from a season is not why we should keep a player. He’s a good lad Raz but his heart is clearly not at City, time to go and hope he does well wherever he ends up. On Sunday he was not enamoured at the Trophy celebration and he didn’t even turn up at the parade last night. Hopefully we get around 30m for him and his wages are freed up. He was offered a contact extension a couple of years ago, refused it and it’s noted he’s been less effective since.
He looked pretty fucking happy when Gundo scored the winner

so nobody is believing he wasn't at the parade due to family reasons ?
I mean it must've been something serious because regardless if you want to stay or not you'd want to see the fans, hang with the mates and get praise for a full day. I buy that he and Jesus (birth of his child) had legit reasons.

I am so glad that I'm not the kind of absolute tosser who posts shit like "his heart is not at City" because a player misses a trophy parade because of a family emergency 2 days after he plays a massive part in the club winning the league.

You do have to wonder what the fuck is wrong with these posters?

He just sparked a comeback to win his 4th league title - Guardiola said himself he didn't believe until the first goal that Sterling creates out of fuck all. He's the club's 10th highest goalscorer in history and one of the most decorated players we've ever had.

When are you lot going to give him the benefit of the doubt? How many goals and trophies does he have to get for this club before his goal celebrations aren't micro-analysed? At 5 league titles will we finally stop hearing "Eh I just never liked him" for reasons they never want to get into?

He'll be another player that SOME posters will praise once he's gone.

I think Raheem is best staying with us. and I hope whatever family issue was going on its being dealt with

Amazing how many psychologists and body language experts are on this forum
That over used Facebook generation word “amazing”, is it fuck, I was there on Sunday (as always) and Raz did not applaud the crowd like the rest of the players did, that was my observation, nothing more, nothing less. Do you really need to be a body language expert to comment on that? We all have opinions outside our areas of expertise, Bluemoon wouldn’t exist without that allowance.

I was also there on Sunday and didn't pay any attention to which players were applauding the crowd because it is of absolutely no importance. Were your eyes on Raz the whole time just to see if he clapped you or not?

P.S. I'm not on Facebook
