Liverpool Thread - 2021/22

A bit late to the party but I've watched the MOTD highlights about fifteen times at this point and still one of my favourite parts is Klopp forcing himself to congratulate us in his post match interview.

The stare into the camera, the forced smile, the pain behind the eyes; all of it is perfect.

I don't really get why he made himself do it, to be honest. I get that he thought he'd try and be gracious in defeat but I don't think anyone considered it a particularly classy touch and none of us would have been arsed if he didn't do it.

Instead we just had a very angry, upset Klopp plastering on the least convincing fake smile I've ever seen while he died inside.

Thanks though, I guess. See you next season.

He had that demonic look and was probably thinking"you promised you'd get us over the line" aimed at the top brass of the Premier league as he was trying to congratulate us

He seems a decent enough bloke, considering who he's playing for.
 
Must be quite a culture shock for the French having these vermin swarm their City. The waiters must be sick of hearing "Do you do chips la?"
