United will be pushing for this, it will enable them to refurbish their disgraceful toilet facilitiesIf the PL want to max out for charity it should be held at Sold Trafford. 70k to 75k fans will make for a great atmosphere.
Also, it'll be taking the piss out of the rags by rubbing it in that they have won fuck all.
It was confirmed weeks ago.Wikipedia is showing it to be Leicesters ground
Why? Only 45,000 went to Wembley for last year’s City v Leicester game and that includes all the FA’s London luvvie hangers on. And we’ve not sold out any CS or FA Cup semi at Wembley going back a few years now.32000 capacity. Sheer Madness.
You're mistakenly working on the basis that the FA give a flying fuck about the fans.Leicester were said to be favourites of those that have bid to host it, after the semi final debarcle seems daft to pick a place where you have to go via birmingham or sheffield to get there on the train
How the fuck are the 30k wall pushers going to jib into this ground. Should be a fun day although surely the 17.15 ko can't be right. That's utter madness.32000 capacity. Sheer Madness.
Why is it weird to expect a kick-off time that gives fans a greater range of transport options and a fighting chance of getting home at a reasonable time?It was confirmed weeks ago.
Date is Sunday 31st July, 17:15 KO (cue more moans from our fans who are proper weird about kick off times!)
Should be a top day!
Because when it’s a mid-week match that kicks off at 20:00, nobody bats an eyelid. As soon as it’s not 15:00 on a Saturday at weekend people start having a meltdowns. Why is it weird to expect a kick-off time that gives fans a greater range of transport options and a fighting chance of getting home at a reasonable time?
Since when did sky care about any of them things? Why is it weird to expect a kick-off time that gives fans a greater range of transport options and a fighting chance of getting home at a reasonable time?
Or Oslo, Norway.FA will most likely pick Southampton
Regardless of whether Sky care (they don't of course), we should still have that expectation. Otherwise, we just continue to allow the bastards to walk all over us.Since when did sky care about any of them things?
I take your point but, for the record, I don't like 8:00 evening kick-offs either. 7:45 at the latest for me. Ideally though, I'd go back to the good old/bad old days when 7:30 was the norm with a 10 minute half time break. At my age I need to get home for my slippers and cocoa!Because when it’s a mid-week match that kicks off at 20:00, nobody bats an eyelid. See it all the time on here.
Maybe a bit more excitement for this one. I for one want to see the Viking run out in blue. And what about Isco disco? I think the new player effect will see quick sell outs for weeks. Why? And we’ve not sold out any CS or FA Cup semi at Wembley going back a few years now.
This should add a bit of clamour for tickets (although going off this thread you’d imagine we’d struggle to sell out this!) and get those going who only really want to go which should make for a better atmosphere.
It's the only chance the place will get to see silverware. Will Utd want it considering the two teams involved?
Generally speaking (not just using this thread as a barometer) I'm sure there's loads more interest from City fans than there would be if it was at Wembley. This will sell out easily IMOWhy?
