At present yes , if Pep signs for another five years you have no idea how Vinnies managerial career will progress , he took over at Anderlecht with them 8th in the table with 43pts , he has left two years later in 3rd position and 64pts , a definite improvement , not sure Solksjaer had a similar influence on the Rags.Whoever replaces Guardiola has to be an elite world class manager.
Vinny, Arteta and Viera aren’t even playing the same sport. Arteta has potential and was by all accounts a brilliant number two, but look at the way Arsenal bottled the top four this season. He’s nowhere near the top level yet.

Neither play the right way to take over from Pep. Ten Hag was my favourite. The fact he went to united suggests we think Pep's staying. So who the contenders are in 3 years or so, nobody knows.It’s really difficult

I think it’s possible and that a winning record and mentality is more important in the absence of someone that has both of those AND plays a certain way.
