The simple lesson, don't go on the pitch and don't get a big fine and ban.
Enjoyed that video good to see it from the Villa perspective.
Why can't he understand the City fans going over to the Villa fans to celebrate? They turn up with inflatable Champions league trophies and sing about winning it, long before most of them born for most of the match.
Audiences watching at home were 'distressed'.... do me a favour.
The lesson is do not commit criminal offencesNo, we wouldn't!
Football fans are criminalised enough as it is.
Given the emotion of the moment, no previous offences and literally 0 impacts on the game/players/fans (no victims of this crime), it's an absolutely shambolic verdict.
I feel incredibly sorry for the OP. They've made an example of him.
I went on the pitch ten minutes later myself!
The lesson for everyone reading this post is ALWAYS USE LEGAL REPRESENTATION!!
Yip.Moan all you want about the fine and ban you made your choice.Deal with it.The simple lesson, don't go on the pitch and don't get a big fine and ban.
Don't you think he has suffered enough? Is the gofundme for his sky sports subscription for the next 4 years?
:)
Stand by for numerous lectures from the "you haven't lived unless you've done a pitch invasion" brigade, lol.The simple lesson, don't go on the pitch and don't get a big fine and ban.
I’d agree with you, but for now, no comment.Always get a lawyer
No comment then lawyer up.
No point grassing yourself up. It’s a game this court lark and you play by their rules.
Appeal this load of shit decision where they have clearly misidentified you for someone else.
Or had he been a scouser a free season ticket for 4 years plus £10k compensation
Get the FSA involved mate if you want to appeal the sentenceI tried to do the decent thing, to represent myself I'm quite capable of taking responsibility for my own actions.
I thought representing myself and admitting responsibility was the right thing to do.
And it's come out the complete opposite way. Anyone viewing the film or at the match would've seen I did nothing to antagonise or cause trouble.
I was in a moment of pure joy and I went off with no fuss after.
I can't believe the picture being painted of me. I'm just in a state of shock.
Shame Meldrew didn’t have the BSC on his side. That’s the British Scousewashing CorporatiomOr had he been a scouser a free season ticket for 4 years plus £10k compensation
Just come out of court. 4 year ban 800 quid fine.
Real criminals get better treatment.
I'd usually inclined to agree. However I suspect that in this case the ban would be exactly the same, and any 'reduction' in the amount of the fine would be counteracted by the solicitor's fees.Anyone who represents themselves has a fool for a client, once the prosecution knew this sadly you were always getting hammered.
