What a nice touch. Funny isn't it that some on here have been screaming about it getting it done and panicking that Real might sneak him in, while the club and player's marketing teams have been coordinating a whole plan of weeks of winks and nods about this.
 
Delighted. Nice interview too, strikes me as someone very down to earth and ready to work hard to be the best he can.

I'm curious at how the media are handling this though. Most leagues would be delighted a top team has attracted a major name and talent, yet the way we see this being reported is a little different to what you'd generally see in Spain, France or Italy, so far at least. Yet the seem intent to say he won't keep up the goals ratio in our league and to puff up the fee as much as possible, despite it being widely known as a fixed release fee.

But I have a feeling that their apparent willingness for Erling to fail is just fuel for the fire.

Edit, fair play to the BBC (I know, wtf!) They are reporting positively on this one.

Just watched the video. I'd forgotten the "it's beautiful" comment about the Etihad. I like the Etihad. I feel at home there. It ain't beautiful, though. Should have known then.
 
Was more excited when I new he was coming because I thought we had no chance of getting him.

Today is great day good fun to see all media and video of the lad..
