Given their business model is buy low, sell high it seems he's fucked up by holding onto him for too long.

It’s gonna be very interesting to see how Brighton play it. Guess a lot depends on how much cucurella will push for the move.

Big off season for Brighton as they could easily fall into the Southampton trap of losing their best players and end up becoming a bottom 5 prem club. Have family who are Brighton fans and my son plays for their under 8’s team so I do have a vested interest in what happens.

Bit surprised Spurs went and got Bissouma unopposed. Surely there were more clubs interested in him. Is it solely down to the investigation on him? And if that's the case how come he still played and another club is close to buying him. No legal hurdles it seems.

innocent until proven guilty maybe? might be something in a contract that if the case is proven he gets sacked and most clubs dont want the hassle?

I doubt spurs are paying £25m for someone if there's any chance they will sack them in a few months tbh

If we signed him we will get the negative from the media even if found not guilty at spurs will have none of that.

I think CFG players will bring in a lot more than £25m. Bazunu alone would be over £10m and Porro has moved for £7m+. Doyle and Delap (just for example before anyone jumps the gun) would bring quite hefty fees too. There are several fringe academy players who may move.

That is just bad business. Chelsea or Madrid would be snapping him up for 40m+ in about 2 seasons.
