Phillips on today’s showing isn’t at our level.

he isn't at our level everyday of the week.

Decent engine, covers the ground well and can snuff out attacks; however, his quality on the ball is what I'd describe as basic (low range of passing) and often seems to switch off when he's decided that somebody else is going to get a ball, which isn't great for a DM

I love Phil, but think he's rarely used properly for England and although his quality is obvious he doesn't always seem able to get into the game as much as he does for City.
