I have tickets for the England Austria game. Genuinely excited to watch Lauren Hemp leave their right back with PTSD.

Been on that hype train since the 3-3 draw against Chelsea in 2020 where she just worked their defence into the ground.

The last time England played the US Women in the She Believes CUP in 2020 she, in my opinion, was the only England player who gave the opposition any concern that night. She was everywhere on the pitch and seemed to me to be moving as fast towards the end as she was at the beginning.

Carly Telford played out of her mind in the first half of that match too. She made some great saves or the score could well have been 4-0, maybe 5-0.

This is on but off topic. For those of you on Instagram, the account Mancitywomennews uses odd filters on all the new Spanish speaking signings and Losada but with the English women, I've noticed with Greenwood, Hemp and Roebuck, they just use a normal photo. It is extremely odd.

I don't know what they're playing at but it is certainly weird.

1. It’s not an official account.
2. Those filters look to be there to style up the new signing photos.

That’s it.

BSWL Fixtures are set to be announced in mid-July.

BWSL will start on the weekend of 9-11 September 2022 and conclude on the weekend of 27-28 May 2023.

BWSL and BWC matches will take place as normal during the window occupied by the FIFA World Cup in Qatar at the end of 2022 with fixtures occurring on the weekends of the 3-4 December and 10-11 December"

Let’s hope that someone makes the right decision to have the final WSL fixtures on 27/5 to avoid last EPL fixtures on 28/5 Fans shouldn’t have to choose which team’s match to attend.

The 2022/23 FA Cup final will take place on Saturday 14 May.

City will enter the Champions League at the first qualifying round stage They will find out their opponent when the draw takes place at 13:00 on Friday June 24.

I think the writing was on the wall for Steph when a new Captain was appointed.
Not sure how fit she is given an achilles is a horrible injury to recover from but Scott and Kirby were in the same boat and have made it in.
Gives her chance to get herself in good shape with a proper pre-season and some more time to properly wind up intensity on the achilles repair and see what shape shes in come seasons start. Not sure how long her extension was she signed last year but the secrecy around it makes you think it was only a year and this season coming might be her last as a player with us.

2nd May 2021: Chloe suffers an ACL injury playing for City.

15th June 2022: Chloe is included in England’s Euros squad.

What a comeback absolutely made up for Chloe the way she ended the season after returning from a long-term injury she deserves everything She offers something completely different with her pace and her trickery and has a really good understanding with Lauren who is a starter in this team
