Erik ten Hag's first Premier League game as Manchester United manager will be against Brighton at Old Trafford, live on Sky Sports, on the opening Super Sunday of the 2022/23 season.

Goldbrige crying that we have a budget of around £200 million this summer, totally ignoring that we took in £40 million for Torres should get roughly the same or slightly more for Jesus and then we have a number of the academy players moving on, net spend is likely to be less than £100 million.
 
Looks like Kennedy and Timber incoming from Ajax. Van der Beek back from Everton. Theyd have to pay F De Jong eye watering wages to prise him from Barca - so thats a yes then! Maybe De Ligt from Juve. All this so the new guy can recreate his all-conquering Ajax team from 4 years ago that couldnt get past Spurs.

Reminds me of the Mark Hughes days when we had the Sheikh's full backing to disrupt the status quo and make some seismic signings with the new funds available. Instead he raided his old club Blackburn, hello Bellamy and Santa Cruz!
 
I see united’s patience has run out already. Neville saying that they need to act to keep up with their rivals. Only Villa have strengthened early. End of last season, we were told it was going to take time. Clear out needed then scout players that fit the United dna. Also known as copy Liverpool’s strategy under klopp.

Now they are messing about trying to get de jong and rice amongst others. Very confused????

Either rebuild slowly and accept you won’t be competing for the league or erm try and get de jong and use the current world class squad to challenge again lol.

Problem is they can’t take not being involved in a title fight and not being a top attraction for world class players. The ego of the club is still continuing to hamper their rebuild.

Truly wonderful. They have not got a clue.

This has been their downfall season upon season, looking for the marquee signings hoping that those signings will be enough for them to challenge for trophies, it isn't working they need a clean slate.

Now they are left with too much deadwood and can't get rid of the squad to rebuild properly, it's going to be ages until they g=have a squad worth worrying about if they ever do.
