De Jong is nowhere near as good as Bernie. Shouldn’t be mentioned in the same sentenceWe can't let De Jong go to United to then see Bernie go to Barca. If the club know Bernie is off we should be demanding Frenkie comes the other way.
You just did ;)De Jong is nowhere near as good as Bernie. Shouldn’t be mentioned in the same sentence
Yea like selling em Torres for the same we bought Haaland you jokerIf they get £75 million for Frenkie from the Rags then we want all of that at least for Bernie. We'll probably accept anything around £50m because our team seem to love bending over for Barca - like we seem honoured to be mentioned in the same sentence as them.
City would get 80-100m for selling Bernardo, which isn't bending over... I think people are more worried about potentially losing Bernard or not having a proper replacement lined up.If they get £75 million for Frenkie from the Rags then we want all of that at least for Bernie. He’s dogshit. Would fit right in at the swampDe Jong can't play without the ball. Without the ball he literally s*cks. I can't imagine this guy against an aggressive team like Liverpool or Spurs in midfield. It's like committing suicide.
City cannot sell Bernardo without a high-quality replacement and below 100m€.
We need a top midfielder who is able to play high-tempo games like Barella or Bellingham. The problem is that we are too slow in terms of finding replacements for some players. He’s dogshit. Would fit right in at the swamp
Maybe, if you respect the wishes of your players. There’s contracts and there’s gentlemen’s agreements (don’t know if there is one, but Pep wouldn’t keep any player against his will). I’d be gutted to lose him. I agree though, we need to look after the interests of the club, even with the best/most loyal players. It's not hard is it just do what Levy did £100m or forget it
De Jong is not dogshit; that is ludicrous. He might not be as good as Bernie but then few are. He’s dogshit. Would fit right in at the swamp
For me Barella or Bellingham. I'm not an FDJ fan. I want fresh, dynamic, lively and energetic midfielder in terms of replacing Bernardo.De Jong is not dogshit; that is ludicrous. He might not be as good as Bernie but then few are.
De Jong would be superb in our team, in my opinion. He's tailor-made for pass and move football.
No problem with that but the lad is a star, coming into his prime and has 3 years left on his contract he signed, so he ain't gonna be cheap for anyone. If he wants to leave and be closer to his home we should let him. He’s given more then enough.
We shouldn’t keep players if they would rather be elsewhere
Steady on.He’s in his prime and would get into any team in the world. 100m is more than fair.
Foden is not ready to play in midfield IMO. We have a massive, massive gap if Bernardo would go and we need to prepare list of potential replacements.Buy De Jong and Sane.
Move Phil from the left to keep Rodri company.
We could be seeing a return to Dave style passes into the box for sane to pass to erling.
Not a popular view but if Bernie is going we could do worse than the two players mentioned.
