They will have to use the youth team to pad the squad out, unless a miracle happens they will begin in early August with a squad ability and depth that is worse than what Ragnick signed off in May with.

The thing is they've actually still got shitloads of players on the books. Martial, Tuanzebe, Van der Beek and Pereira are all senior players that were sent on loan last season. They've got so much dead wood. Phil Jones is still on the books ffs. Eric Bailly, who managed 4 league appearances last season.
