It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

I cannot think of a player realistically available who is “bigger” than Felix who plays as a winger/false 9 except Neymar.

Think it's always subjective who a person thinks is a bigger player.

Tolmie has hinted that we'd be after Bellingham next summer but with Sterling possibly leaving I think we'd try for this summer instead.

So please tell me what part of my post was incorrect, according to you, regarding how our transfer strategy works.
I await with interest.
you need to go back and read what I wrote. half the stuff you wrote is completely opposite to what I have characterized. and the other half is taking it out of context and using it.

I doubt we would, and think Bellingham is earmarked to replace Gundogan, though I suppose if Bernardo went that could change. Though I also doubt very much Dortmund would let him go this summer.

Not a fucking chance in hell we don't replace a player as big as Sterling. Don't care if you are Sam Lee, a podcaster, know the club kitman or an italian tweeter, it is deluded to even think let alone suggest.
Agree with you and hope hes full of crap

You are completely clueless. You are now backtracking on your original post where you claim Pep works with what he`s given.
For the record others have also pointed this out to you.

I honestly think we aren't signing a replacement for Sterling if he goes. With Haaland and Alvarez. We'll have the same amount of options we had last year after we sold Torres (if Gabby and raz leave). + Palmer might get more minutes?

Sterling hasn't been at his best for a while. But my other concern is that with Sterling leaving we won't have pace on the wings anymore. We are truly leaving the Sane-Sterling era.

Even on an off day Sterling is far, far better than Palmer, plus his reputation means he keeps defences worried, as he can still create or score when having a poor game.

Agree we need attacking pace, which is one of Sterling’s key attributes. If Sterling insists on leaving he absolutely must be replaced.

I will say it one last time, our first team manager works together with management to identify targets but ultimately the squad building decisions are left to the upper management and not the team manager/coach. pep has admitted as such many times before.
