Grealish was 4th in the league in expected assists per 90. Only behind KDB, TAA, and Salah. He was 2nd in the league in shot creating actions per 90 behind KDB. He led the league, by far, in carries into the penalty area (88 vs Salah 71). Palmer is ready for the step up, he’s looked the part when he’s played for the first team and he’s far to good for EDS level, he takes the piss at that level. It’s going to be an interesting summer. I’ve got a feeling that Bernardo will leave and Foden will permanently drop back to CM, then we’ll sign a LW.

That’s strong attacking options. Neymar is a **** but I think Pep would rejuvenate his career. I haven’t seen much of Leao, so I can’t really comment. 93 points. That’s some limp.only messing. The work rate from sterling and Jesus is phenomenal. Bernie going would cause us problems I agree. No one is throwing these players out they want to go.
A new approach is needed. For all the good points you make for each player. The ability to score regularly has been a problem. Hell jesus even decided he wanted to be a winger. Sterling for whatever reason wants to go and has looked a shadow of the player he once was for us.
The club need to move on. This current team limped home again for the second season in a row. Winning the league was an amazing achievement with no forward, dwindling Fern and a lb in jail.
I am very thankful for everything that both players have contributed. We can’t fear their loss but accept change is coming mainly due to as I said the players mentioned wanting out.

I get where you’re coming from mate, but pretty much everything you’ve described is common practice in the football industry, so what you see as mugging off, I see as a perfectly normal business practice.No not really… players either want to come or they don’t, they either want to stay or they don‘t. We need to stop pissing about and letting teams mug us off by tapping players up and convincing them to sit it out for a free transfer to save them money dealing with us.
