Alexandole Boris de Pfeffel Johnson

He fucking instigated Brexit and was instrumental in getting it voted for. It can hardly be used as an excuse for his struggles. And every country in Europe has had to deal with Covid and war in Ukraine. They all seemed to manage without killing half the people in care homes and managed to complete their vaccination programmes without his leadership.
Don’t forget the thirty seven billion wasted on track and trace and contracts handed out to friends and Tory donors

Fucking depressing showing all the vox pops of cons supporters upset over the twat. Scary who's got the right to vote.

Not really. It was always said as such about democracy. Rest of us supposed to be here making sure they don't get carried away. And occassionally, they're gonna get carried away anyway. As long as the democratic institutions stand and keep turning, it acts as a pressure valve, and a reality check for the rest of us, we aren't the only voice out there, we never will be, we can never let that idea become our comfort zone. There are always going to be a sizable portion of the populace who will go for this stuff, and it's just in human nature that the further they get, the more would follow it all the way past reason, through the burning streets, mass arrests, the end of the rule of law and the protection of the individual from fear and threat of violence. And further.

The fact that it’s the Tory members that choose the leader means that if one of the final two is a Johnson loyalist, the chances are we’ll end up with Johnson Mk2. The chances of that are quite high because I suspect there’s a block vote of somewhere near 100 MPs that would vote for Johnson’s choice which would give that candidate 2nd place amongst MPs and put him/her in the members’ poll. Wouldn’t put it past Johnson to stand himself to see if he can get a new mandate from the members, although if that were possible I suspect the 1922 committee would change the selection rules.

Why? Do you honestly think the choice of mps we have are any good. I’m making more of a general point about the quality of mps we can pick from
Law of averages state that 1 of the 650 MPs elected would be better than Johnson. That’s before you factor his faults.

I’d suggest around 600 of the 650 would have been better.
