This is either a wind up of some description like stand by your beds or it’s Neymar.

He’s basically said it’s a World famous Brazilian so we only have Vinicius and Neymar and it can’t be the former so, if it’s not a wind up it’s Neymar.

If it is him I don’t know what to think. Not a City type signing at all and, on the face of it, a totally selfish diving nobhead. Undoubtedly a great player.

Vinicius is not close to Neymar stop it and he is definitely not a fireworks signing.

1 good season after various poor seasons does not make Vinicius world class and definitely not something we need. We don’t really need Neymar but if a superstar like him becomes available and he is willing to come, you take it.

And can we stop mentioning Felix and Bellingham but especially bellingham because spending 100m on a kid as average as him would be extremely poor business. Bellingham has been made into something he isn’t by the English media, he is extremely overrated.

3. A deal of this size not being reported elsewhere is somewhat telling. Brazilian media are very good with this stuff.

What even is a UAE-Qatar beef and how does it relate to transfers ?

I think you are overthinking it if you think that is a major deal breaker.

Just catching up with the nights action… If genuinely him, I don’t think Neymar would prompt that kind of reaction from 93.20, in the same way it hasn’t with everyone else.

Personally I think any attacking signing will be a much more future focussed signing that Neymar, given the current balance of the squad and our options. The problem is the options are very limited, below is a list of young forwards valued north of £50M, and don’t play for Real, Barca, or one of our PL rivals.

Edit: And within those, if they Not 19 Forever reference was to age then Ansu Fati is currently 19. Nobody of note uses the #19 shirt apart from Diaby below.
